Picture Head / Lead Motion Graphics Designer

As a key role in leading the Finishing and Localisation of titles and graphics for global distribution. Working as an integral part of the global Picture Head group as well as part of the local Leadership team in London. Supporting global graphics initiatives, including global training and bringing in members for global collaboration on tight deadlines and large volume campaigns.
Research and development to optimize workflows. Training and development of junior GFX staff across different projects and client accounts. Guiding teams through technical updates and software rollout.
Created a well established, positive and trusting relationship with client, Netflix. Lead for complex and high-profile campaigns, which required creative re-creation and/or input, and communication with original creation teams. Proven to be organized and meticulous and never failed to make deadlines with a Responsibility for 30+ languages/territories on Graphics localisation.
Responsibilities would include Branding and over seeing every trailer to make sure the correct branding is used depending on where the asset will be played. Also working the the engineering department to upgrade and install new plug-ins and software, trouble shoot technical issues, and work on creative concepts.

The role is involved in the creation of localised marketing materials for Netflix or Trailers! Such title as The Witcher, The Crown, Sex Education, Dark and La Casa De Papal.
Working to specified deadlines, which go from Approval to full delivery in various specs such as UHD HD 1x1 and vertical. Troubleshoot AE projects to match existing animations and problem-solve design solutions such as sourcing a missing plug-in, and programs or creating a substitute effect.
Asset recreation and creation with added VFX fixes, Cigarette and sign removal, green screen etc. Working on multiple AE and Cinema 4d workflows and conforming all outputs to match the needs of our final deliveries. Using other software and assets for motion graphics with various Photoshop, Illustrator and cinema 4d elements. Working with the technician teams to aid new software and deployment of new workflows. Multi Language workflows as we deliver in 27 worldwide languages include Arabic and Hebrew.
This includes internal Marketing for in house teams such as VFX and broadcast with various types of marketing media. Creating toolkits for other sites to use so the themes and styles work flawlessly.
Best moment: Creating a four screen display for The Crown in multiple rations that would all sit together and feel as one in NYC Times Square.

Delivering 2d and 3d projects, working on solo projects or as part of a team. Taking lead on projects from script to final product and involved at every stage from script to storyboards, style frames and animation. Direct contact with clients and management of multiple projects at the same time, turn around can be as little as two days and up to eight weeks for more complex 3d projects. Some commercial work, mostly explainer videos. A very technical role as we like to make our assets match full technical specs of any given product. Clients include; Waitrose, Great British Racing, Royal Society of Chemistry, Lloyds bank, Xeros. Some clients are direct from brands or through agencies.

Brandy Thieves: A music video, I had the artists trust to let me go for it, I created a world of the undead as more of a celebration, with the chance to do some really nice character work. Parkway Cinemas: Created new series of opening Idents for parkway before each screening I also create an annual advert for the Christmas pantomime at parkway cinemas, It’s an opportunity for me to create motion graphics on a huge scale, making work that has impact for the audience and influencing sales

Runner at Glasgow based company. I worked on script to storyboard layout. data-wrangling with motion capture footage and different stages of the edit. Pre-production work, call sheets, schedules. Projects include Halo 4 and Alien Isolation. I earned a lot of responsibility in this role and the hard work had great rewards. Halo 4 (end game credit).
